What Slotcast is

Slotcast is a scheduling tool that publishes videos to TikTok accounts you connect, at times you choose. It is operated as a small, invite-only service.

Data we collect

We store only what the product needs to work:

• Your email address, used to sign you in with magic links.
• TikTok account metadata for accounts you connect: your TikTok display name, username, avatar, and the posting capabilities TikTok reports for your account (allowed visibility levels, interaction settings, maximum video length).
• OAuth tokens that let Slotcast post on your behalf. These are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and are never shown to anyone, including you.
• The videos, captions, and schedule settings you upload for posting.

How the TikTok API is used

Slotcast uses TikTok’s Login Kit and Content Posting API with the scopes user.info.basic, video.publish, and video.upload. They are used exclusively to identify the account you connected, to query your posting capabilities, and to publish the posts you schedule. Slotcast never reads your messages, followers, or analytics, and never posts anything you did not explicitly schedule.

Storage and retention

• Data is stored with Supabase (database and file storage).
• Video files are deleted automatically 7 days after a post is published (14 days for failed posts). Uploads never attached to a post are deleted within 48 hours.
• Disconnecting a TikTok account deletes its tokens immediately.
• Deleting your Slotcast account removes all your data, including stored videos.

What we don’t do

• No selling or sharing of personal data with third parties.
• No advertising, tracking pixels, or behavioral analytics.
• No AI training on your content.
